When you are planning for your illustrated standard project, it is helpful to have the committee working on the layout and text of your publication while the artist works on drawings.  Following this procedure will enable the committee to anticipate which illustrations are needed to best enhance the text of the breed standard.  It takes some time, even after the illustrations are completed, for the committee and publisher to have everything ready to go in the finished form.  Planning ahead will help greatly in this process.  This page includes projects for which the drawings have been completed, but the publication is still pending.

Illustrated Standard artwork can vary greatly, depending upon the club's needs and style preference.  More and more publications are now intended for both presentation online and in print, so it helps to have some flexibility.  Below you will find examples from completed illustrated standard projects.  In this case, it is a completed project that has yet to be published, so covers are not available at this time.  Instead, a sample illustration is included, or a combined sample of drawings.

The illustrated standard publication gallery section is split into three pages.  The galleries for Completed Projects and Works Still in Progress can be accessed by following the links below to each gallery.  Click on any image in the publication galleries and a large version will open.
